They can charge what ever they want but it should be around $450-500 to cert everything.
As an example the most recent cert I went through last Dec (in Wellington) was for a Nissan Safari: - raised suspension - adjustable panhard rods - lowered radius arm mounts - 33" tyres - Wheels - wide flares - turbo conversion - front and rear steel tube bumpers - Aftermarket seats
That was $450.
Before that I certified a car with turbo swap (from supercharger), adjustable suspension and it was around $400 that was 6 or 7 years ago.

I paid around $700~ for my LVV cert - including exhaust. Got it done through Clint Field (0274522049)
It takes a few hours for him to go through everything and it needs performed at a workshop with a hoist. When the plate is made (usually 2-3 weeks) he will organise a time to see the car and install the plate.
Thanks for the replies, Have been quoted by someone else around the $700 price bracket which is a lot more sane than $1000 for the same amount of work.
Do you get given a temporary cert while the plate is being made or do you just have to stay under the radar?
