Converted manual? Reason I ask is that this problem has been reported over on the aussie JZX site where the car is still running the auto ECU with a manual gearbox. I have never had a problem with my car stalling since the manual conversion 6 months ago (still running auto ECU).

Have a look around the vacuum lines there may be some splits or cracks somewhere that are causing the idle control valve to get false readings. Have that on my 110 for a few days, stalling when coming to a stop thanks to a perished hose.

The atmospheric BOV's don't work well with the 1jzgte vvti. Because its not circulating through the j pipe system it either over fuels or under fuels when coming to a stop or even slow driving causing it to stall

I had these problems too...
auto ecu with atmo bov on r154 swapped 1jz vvti and it got worse when I removed the jpipe.

I had to raise the idle on mine to compensate for the rpm drop when you come back to idle. Otherwise if you get a tune it can fix this issue - using a safc or replacement ecu.
