Hahaha! If you go lower than a 3.7 then your gear ratio's will get longer.

Not much out there less than 3.7.
I believe the newer hiluxs (sheep shagger and on) had a 3.5 option
But unsure if c&p are the same. Pretty sure the centres are different.
Hardly worth it for the difference you would see. (Less than 200rpm difference at 100kmh)

A lot of guys drifting in oz run 4.3 massive improvements in gearing for there tighter tracks.

nah i was just thinking you know got lots of power n such so would be nice to use the torque, probably just lead to ruining the gearbox faster anyways. hey i must update my build thread keep you guys in the loop and ask questions there because i have a lot of issues as you prolly guessed. haha

With an R154 and 245/45/18s about 2,200rpm.

Should be more than that. From memory I'm closer to 2400 with a 3.9

I'm hitting 2300rpm running a R154 with 235/40/19 and a 3.9 diff

Redline: 7000RPM

3.7: 100kph in 5th: 2200rpm | Top Speed: 302kph
3.9: 100kph in 5th: 2350rpm | Top Speed: 286kph
4.1: 100kph in 5th: 2500rpm | Top Speed: 272kph
4.3: 100kph in 5th: 2600rpm | Top Speed: 260kph
4.4: 100kph in 5th: 2700rpm | Top Speed: 254kph
4.7: 100kph in 5th: 2900rpm | Top Speed: 238kph
