Yeah, known a few people who've had an absolute shitter of a time when trying to claim through NAC. But I guess that goes for most insurance companies really?

Myself... I don't have insurance :oops: my car isn't certed for engine swap etc so there's no way i'd get a pay out if something were to happen. I'll have to get onto that sometime..

Yeah, I agree in general insurance companies are going to try anything to not pay you out - that's why certs for everything is crucial, especially in performance cars. We had a Supra forum member who had issues at the start with NAC when his car got rear-ended whilst being parked on the side of the road, he got the money in the end though - but yeah, they will try anything.

im with clic car insurance i find them really easy to deal with every year they give you a discount on insurance (not sure if all companys do this). I insure my car at 20g and pay about $100 a month and im 22

Is that agreed value or market value? I've heard good things about CLIC..

i havnt had a car valuation done before so i just chose how much i wanted to insure it for

I had to under value my car/mods to get insurance through state, hope I never have to use it as if the car is written off i'll only come out with $7500 and it owes me twice that :shock:

Yeah, mine is insured for 20k as well... so $120 a month for full-cover as main driver who just got full license I reckon is decent by NAC eh?

I found the mod that seems to up your insurance costs is coilovers.. not sure why.
but nac bumps it up for that.
my excess was around 1400.. now its 600

Oh ok, I have Bilstein shocks and I think my excess is $1,600? How did your excess go down so much, was that changing insurance companies?
