JZX81 on trademe

Post by HeapsThorn »

Anyone else seen this?

Pretty funny, trying to sell it as a cressida, got plenty of people telling him its a mark 2 JZX81 but he firmly believes its a cressy!
His loss I guess, looks like a tidy car

There's a reason why i didn't post this here.... lol viewing it soon. The only draw back is they're real gas guzzlers and really slow having an old slushbox in it.. 25sec 0-180

Also very cheap in Japan... $1k FOB price

That and the fact they only just bought it a couple of weeks ago for $3,200.

100% markup, yes please.

Haha thanks for this.... reason to haggle..

to be fair, there were things that needed to be done when he bought it for 3.2K.. but then again, wanting $2.3k on top isn't justified for what he did. lol

Hahaha... yeah if I was in a better property and more setup I would have grabbed it straight away, but alas, nowhere to put (more) cars.

When I was looking for 81 I always had searches running for "cressida" "grande" "avante" "mk2" "mkii" "mark" "chaser" "cresta"...

Yes to be fair it needed some work, but to be fair it also had a custom front facing plenum, so thats worth $600-$1000 right away that you don't get with the car anymore. But hey, its supply and demand, if you can find another JZX81 GT around for less, go buy it :D

but in a polite way, will be interesting to see if the chap replys
curb |kərb| kerb
noun
1 a stone or concrete edging to a street or path.
2 a check or restraint on something
3 a concrete construction used to help rotate your car
4 a tempting shortcut

Now he has people backing him up telling him its a cressida and that they were released in limited numbers.. Some people are thick.
