Hey guys I need an ecu from a 1jz-ge non vvti. I know jonno2002 has heaps of bits so I'm hoping he might have one lying around!

Ok it's been figured out, computer is faulty, not worth repairing it so I need a new ecu. Anyone know where one is?

Na na it sits above the front windscreen on the outside and it's like tinted glass.

What is that thing called that sits above the windscreen. It's a big sun shield and it is the size of a banner and they are usually on older cars but I can't find anywhere to buy them or even what they are called. I just reacon it could help rock the old school look.

I managed to find one. Put it on while I was still building the car, all I know is it was gone by the end. I found mine on trademe btw

So confused, just came back from a week in queens town, car hasn't moved since I left, start it up and give it bait of a rev and it's perfect, not complaining but so weird. Must have been that cable then, and it's got new as plugs in it by the way.

Interesting. If your leads are really old, more than one of them could've broken down. Not really possible to tell just by looking at them (although if they're really bad, have a look at them with the engine running at night and you might see spark escaping from them, definitely time for a new set ...

yea yea i see what you mean, i never even put that much thought into it. i just wanted a big single pipe, and i only went as high as i did because i figured there was no point half arseing it. But yea when i get sick of the current one il probly put way more thought into it. Honestly i dont think it...
