Re: New to JDM with a freshly imported Tourer V 1993

You and I have the same gear lever, not sold on it yet, feels wrong somehow. Wow, It must be my old age hearing and driving noisy cars for too long that makes me feel like this is one of the quietest cars I have owned. Certainly the most fun and responsive even when it tries to kill me. The box feel...

Re: my JZX90 Cresta

I have the Cusco diff your talking about, you can set it 1, 1.5 or 2 way with the cam lock design and yes, you need to open it. Not cheap but came at the time I needed one and chose it as it will be bullet-proof for everything I want to do.

looks like a very nice little car, always like the Enkeis...were on my last DC2R.
But onto more JZX related speak...whats the impressions of the car now that you have had play....gearbox feel, power delivery etc. I know I was very happy upon receiving my pig back and feeling how free she had become.

Re: my JZX90 Cresta

Hamish, I have a 2 way and yes it is pretty "clunky" on grippy seal..on turns its pretty brutal on the rear end, and even in general driving it can be a little hard to hide, but when you need both wheels to go, a stab of the clutch to get a bit of action going it does the job well.Your always welcom...

B is the man, does a fantastic job and has done it all before so no surprises. He did mine and I loooove it.. Now you just need to get that badboy into a skid day and the smile will go ear to ear!
I used the factory auto surround, no issue looks fine and doesn't interfere with shifter.

Very nice car, saw you pull into NST a week or so ago I think.
You think its fun now....wait until the manual goes in...you will love it like a first born! Glad mine isn't that tidy, or I would feel bad hating on it all the time.

Re: Hi

That's a large statement! Haha, feel free to prove me wrong! :P Not many x90 Chasers out there really, and the ones that are out there are standard, or close to it. Plenty of cool x90 Mark II's seeing as they're alot more common. To be honest i'm not sure if i've ever seen an x90 Tourer V Cresta or...
