If it's throwing afm and o2 sensor codes, I'd start with those, in fact I'd probably put money on it being an afm issue. Maybe see if you can borrow one off someone, if yours is kak'd that would definitely cause issues. I've killed afm's on my Mitsi before and it makes the car run like a pack of ars...

My Soarer sometimes gets both spinning and it has an open diff. I agree, try some donuts and report back (with vids)

Yup you can have a handbrake with an auto trans no problem. Flick an email to Nick at NST and he'll suss you a brand new one, doubt you'll find one second hand and even if you did, the price probably wouldn't be much different.
