JZX NZ

I run 9J +22 front with 225/40 and 10J +24 rear with 235/40. Guard work required front and rear but nothing too extreme. You could make a 255/35 work but it would be more hassle than it's worth IMO.

Thought I should update this thread. My JZX90 is still sitting, unloved, outside my house. Gonna start pulling the motor when the weather fines up a bit I think. I do have a few new bits and pieces to go on it. When we got it running last year it was full of gremlins, I spose because half the engine...

Just after a standard CT15B from a vvti 1jzgte. Cheaper the better, any condition as long as it's rebuildable basically.

I run a 4.3. I think the whole "3rd turns to 2nd" is a bit of an exaggeration, although it does make a big difference over a 3.9, from memory my speedo reads 117kph when I'm sitting at 100 :lol: To be honest, the 4.3 + r154 still feels a bit long legged to me, compared to other cars anyway. Pretty sure there's nothing wrong with them, I only pulled them out to put BC Golds in. I'll have to dig them out of my parts mountain for a check. You can check them out once I find them if ya want.

I don't have a vvti but I've used Valvoline VR-1 the last 3-4 changes in both my cars and it's always come out reasonably nice and clean looking. As opposed to Castrol GTX which I used to run all the time, cheap but it always came out black.
