Re: JZX90 2JZ-GTE, MANY MANY MODS FOR SALE

I agree, would probably cost twice your starting price to build that thing from scratch over here. Good luck with the sale :)

Re: Bride seats

EMS would cost you a fortune, the package would probably be over the max dimensions anyway. You can go standard sea freight. You actually just missed Ewan's NZ container, it left Japan last week so there probably won't be another one for a while. I don't think Jesse Streeter does containers to NZ ei...

Re: My JZX110's

If it's a genuine Jap kit they generally take quite a bit of abuse. My skirts sit a couple cm off the ground, they scrape on practically everything and they've only taken a little bit of cosmetic damage underneath which you can't even see anyway. Yours looks like it'll be similar to mine at the heig...

Re: Rah - JZX91

Nah I mean it sold for 17000 yen more than the buy now price on the other auction. Which I should have taken in the first place, but I had no idea what they go for since I've never seen one for sale before. I wish I got it for 17000 yen, that wouldn't even buy you a loom cable for an e-manage haha. ...

Re: Rah - JZX91

Stoked I managed to score one. Been hunting every other day for months and no JZX90 Power FC's have popped up. Then suddenly the other day there were two of them on Yahoo Japan. One sold pretty quick via buy now, and I managed to win a little bidding war for this one. Should've gone with the buy now...

Re: Rah - JZX91

From what I've seen, alot of them use E-manage's and F-Con's. Not sure how they get around the ecu auto adjusting. They've managed to chip the stock ecu's too I think, I've seen a few Mines chipped ones on yahoo but they never specify what exactly is different (I assume more aggressive fuel maps and...

Re: Rah - JZX91

Don't bother with the Piggyback if you want a nice tune as the factory ECU will always fight against it. You'll do a dyno run with a perfect map, do it again 10mins later and it's completely different! For reliability i'd stay away from it. Especially since you have bigger injectors and a larger tu...

Re: Rah - JZX91

Hmm, you could be right, I'll look into it more... And yup definitely getting it tuned, would be a waste to run this setup on the standard ecu. I have a e-manage ultimate, but thinking about selling it and going with a Link G4. Just means it'll be a few months more downtime for the car cause I'm bro...
