Diff codes don't mean shit in later model Toyotas when it comes to the size of your head/cp.

I haven't done it, but all indications are that it should fit up just fine.

I was going to put an altezza torsen into my old JZX91, then discovered it had the bigger 8" version. Yours being the smaller 7.5" should take the Altezza one without a problem.

Solid mounts would have negated need for engine damper :P Curious as to how those mounts are constructed... As for if the damper would fit, depends where its designed to mount to on the engine really, whether that spot is available on the 2JZ... hunch is the plenum and/or PS reservoir might interfer...
