Re: WTB 17" wheels.

Pretty good wheels at a reasonable price, offset isn't too bad either really. Hard to find anything in that width under $800-$1000 unless its offset in the 40's... nothing spacers can't fix either :)

Re: Auto gearbox question..

Alex: Get a manual conversion kit out of Japan. There are marginally cheaper ways to do it but I've been watching for nearly a year now and they don't save you much money at all. Easiest to just get a straight up full conversion kit when one comes up at a good price. Then it really is just a weekend...

Option 1 all the way :)

Simon, I may have some wheels spare, PM me with your budget and whether you're after 2 or 4, what sort of size and offset you want...

Re: FS: JZX91 Mark2

Damn I wish I could afford this. Trade for a GX90 + cash your way and you can keep your spares, wheels and coilovers? (can't hurt to ask eh lol) Haha... I'd be tempted, but then I'd just end up doing it all over again (building a car like I've done with this the last 3 years)... need to remove the ...

Re: Rear swaybar upgrade for GX90/JZX90/JZX91/JZX93/LX90/SX9

Heya Nick, confirmed that to install a rear swaybar you need the arms from a Tourer (S or V) model and swaybar linkages.

Most aftermarket swaybars should come with the D-bush and D-bracket as the diameter of these parts is usually specific to the diameter of the swaybar.

Re: Kitajima Imports/Kamikaze Imports

If you want new, try rhdjapan or greenline. Shipping probably isn't going to be cheap though. Doubt anybody locally would be dealing in them new.

As for Kitijama imports, their prices seem to vary... some stuff is a good buy, other stuff seems really quite steep...

Re: Bracings REPLICATION

Don't forget the X90 chassis is stiffer than the X100 chassis ;)

I still find it amusing that people purport front (and rear) strut braces to make such a noticeable a difference on anything but macpherson struts...

ahhh... sweet, that answers the questions I had.... they're Ronnie's bushes :) When I'm rich I'll be getting a set... had the PS rack ones for years, can't wait to kit the whole car out... that should just about sort my handling bits n bobs (unless I go crazy and decide to run adjustable arms or som...
