Manual first I reckon, but yeah if a good deal on a front cut or conversion package comes up it'd be hard to resist jumping at it haha. I'll be going the manual n/a 2J route for now. A lightweight flywheel, decent clutch and 4.5 diff.. should go alright I reckon 8-) :lol: Did the Aristo trans work ...

What was involved in wiring it up? Did you adapt your stock loom or modify the Aristo loom? I just adapted my original 1jz loom, extended it into the engine bay from behind the a/c and spliced it into the aristo ecu. Cheers :) The sleeper look is exactly what i'm going for. The 2J conversion wasn't overly difficult and wiring was a breeze. The only problems I ran into stemmed from the block sitting quite far back on its mounts. So it only just clears the steering rod, also it was touching the brake booster which...
