Re: Altezza lsd. Will it fit?
The altezza torsen lsd unit will fit into the gx90/100 diffheads. They are the smaller ones with 4 bolt driveshafts from memory. Pretty sure they wont work on the small & large 6 bolt heads though.

Re: 1UZFE > JZX100
Yeah, the turbo engines have oil squirters. The non turbos have the galleries but you need to drill/tap them & then add an external feed to supply them with oil. Fly cut the pistons to suit, yada yada yada. NZ has a cheap enough supply of factory turbo 1JZ & 2JZ engines to warrant starting with one ...

Re: 1UZFE > JZX100
Sounds good! I do think however you will find it will be a more expensive way to go. Just buy a standard 1JZGTE, say $1500-1800 & bolt it in, wire up & smash it. Then you already have tougher engine internally, multicoil, sweet injectors, etc etc etc. Also easy access to aftermarket parts if you mod...

Re: 1UZFE > JZX100
Hmm, I may have done one or ten of these before. Actually not too bad dude. I found going onto the GX crossmember to be a bit easier. Just use a front bowl LS400/celsiour engine setup & makes it pretty easy. Drivers side header is tight, etc etc. I think at one point I could do em for under $2500 dr...

Re: Cheap mark II tourer v!!!!
In the ballpark listed by Turners. Weird auction though- was forced up to minimum reserve by another bidder then they quit. I had maxed out my budget at that stage so anyone could have had it from there. But by the time you manual it,LSD, suspension, wheels, kit etc it works out plenty cheaper to bu...

Re: X90 Drift Wheel Alignment
Now we're talking. Skids! My old D1 90 settings were: 14/12kg Tein Front 0.5 toe 'out' per side (1mm total) 2.5 deg camber Rear 0.5 deg camber on rears 0 toe on rears (straight) All arms were factory, no rack spacers Liked to be drifted on full lock though, no real spin issues but I'd machine the ro...
